Je suis Charlie

Wondering if I have gone French? Hell no! If you are an internet maniac, you would have by now be familiar with the slogan 'Je suis Charlie'. If you aren't, let me brief you on what this means.
There's is this newspaper /magazine in Paris France that is notorious for it's own form of journalism,SATIRE. What this means in a lay man's language is that the paper draw funny cartoons of public figures and display them in such a funny way to make their audience laugh.
This form of journalism has a long history in France... over a hundred years history! Now,they have been reported to have made fun of so many public figures including Popes and head of states.
However,in 2011,the display of the Prophet in such a caricature manner sparked mass protests across the Muslim world, some even turned violent. One would expect, after such reactions, this French paper 'Charlie Hebdo' would refrain from displaying such ever again and in fact tender an apology for their actions. But,unfortunately, to my amazement, Charlie Hebdo would repeat such a barbaric act again under the disguise of exercising their right to ABSOLUTE FREEDOM OF SPEECH!
It's quite amusing to see that a so-called socialized society would produce such a disrespectful and barbaric news firm!
As a civilized and polite newsstand, one would expect Charlie Hebdo to respect the views and opinions of the people they make cartoons of;one would expect them to apologize to the Muslim world for hurting their feelings and never make such cartoons again. I mean, they could get sued for defamation of character! Why,then, would you make such images given it's worldwide condemnation by Muslims?
The Prophet's image is forbidden to be drawn, even by the Muslims... this is glaring from the protest of the representation of the Prophet's personality in a movie. The Prophet 's is so dear to Muslims that we don't allow its representation in ANY form whatsoever. NOT EVEN A FELLOW MUSLIM IS ALLOWED TO REPRESENT OR MAKETHE PICTURE OF THE PROPHET, HOW RUDE, THEN,IS IT TO HEAR OR SEE NON MUSLIMS PUBLISH IT ON THEIR MAGAZINE!
Instead of being remorseful and apologizing for being the cause of the Paris attack, they come up claiming they were right to commit such a blasphemy and actually pointing accusing fingers to the brothers involved as terrorists for trying to silence them. Hence, the slogan: 'Je suis Charlie '
For those that lost their lives during the Paris attack and the Freedom of speech, over a million people participated in a solidarity rally that's condemning the attack... like forty countries' governments were represented largely by their leaders.
We also have those that didn't show up for the rally, instead, they condemn the barbaric act in all strong terms. In fact Charlie Hebdo paper was banned by Turkey and Senegal governments while in other countries like South Africa and Kenya where some newspapers re-produced the scandalous images, such papers eventually tendered their apologies for such unprofessional move.
While,it's true that the attack and the killings of fellow human beings is wrong,is it not equally very wrong for someone to insist in mocking other people's beliefs and culture??? The world leaders are condemning the killings and have deliberately kept quite on the continuous insult of the memory of our holy Prophet. Instead of dealing with the issue wholistically, they have decided to take sides with the paper. To me,it's so hypocritical of them! Absolute Freedom is unacceptable!
From my understanding of the term 'Absolute Freedom',you have the right to say WHATEVER you wish,HOWEVER way you choose and WHICHEVER medium you choose. If that's the case, then, why would they declare some Muslims wanted over incitement of terrorism? Afterall, they have the right to say whatever they choose to say...ABSOLUTE FREEDOM right?! It's, therefore, hypocritical to defend the actions of Charlie Hebdo under the guise of ABSOLUTE FREEDOM while you declare others wanted for voicing out freely there own opinions ...for exercising the same rights the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists claim to exercise. It's unfair and grave injustice done to the Muslim Ummah!

How many of them would see nothing wrong should they be called names or their mothers or wives be insulted...would the British find it amusing to hear and see the publishing of cartoons of the Queen of England being portrayed as a whore taking it from behind in public in an African Magazine, would there be no problem? Would that still be seen as exercise of Freedom of Speech. It's only a dunce that would think it's right to mock the role model of close to half of the world's population but very wrong to mock the Queen,Rigbt? !
Let's be realistic,no one likes been mocked, just as the Britons wouldn't love to see an African Magazine make a cartoon of their Queen taking it from behind
Some say that Jesus too has been mocked and the Christians didn't complain, well, my response to that is that if Christians are cool with Jesus being mocked, Muslims aren't, not when you mock Jesus or the Prophet because both are sacred role models for us Muslims.
In as much as I condemn the cartooning of the Prophet, I also do condemn in strong terms, the Paris attack. However, as Muslims and Jihadists, in protest to the persistent blasphemous acts of Charlie Hebdo,we should call God Almighty to make them go bankrupt by reciting Suratul Lahab (Tabat yada ) against them. May they go bankrupt and never rise again this year aameen. Bismillah Tabat yada...
Salaam.
