How To End Rape

Salaam.
Like I said in my previous post. Rape is a consequence...more like a punishment for disobedience. Unless you stop the act of disobedience, the punishment can NOT be stopped. There are a couple of things that can lead to Rape. This post is to discuss the main causes of rape so that we may stop engaging in them in order to put an end to rape or to at least reduce its rate to the barest minimum.

Marry With Sense to Prevent Divorce
One of the greatest causes of rape is the issue of single parenting. The role of the mother is different from that of the father and that of the father is different from that of the mother. The presence of both parents are vital to the proper development of the child.
The absence of either parent tells a great deal in the life of the child. This is one of the main reasons it is important for widows and widowers to re-marry as soon as they can. Divorce, unfortunately is trending these days. People get married for just a few years and get divorced with kids involved. What happens most often is that the woman either decides to remain single for the rest of her life or she goes ahead to re-marry thereby leaving the kids to the mercy of the family members of the father. When she decides to remain a widow, she suffers a great deal and spend a little fraction to raise the kids...they tend to succeed at times, but when they fail, they fail WOEFULLY! Some men too, do go solo in raising the children. Obviously, very few men succeed at raising the kids alone. The absence of one of the parents tells a great deal in the life of the child who misses out on one form of training and character or the other. One of such negative traits is the lack of respect and courtesy for others in the society especially the older members of the society. One who lacks respect and courtesy for others may find nothing wrong with raping a woman when the chance presents itself!
It is, therefore, important to take our time to marry the right woman in order to reduce divorce rates which in turn reduces the number of rape cases we record today when we raise responsible and virtuous kids. Marriage to a virtuous woman ( women too should PLEASE watch the kind of guy they give in to) means the kids will not suffer the consequences of a broken home. This is because virtuous people are responsible people who take proper care of their businesses.

Always Put Your Family First!
Yes, this concerns the woman than the man but the the man too must not be away for too long! This is, unfortunately a very big problem in these days of feminism and career men and women. Examples are abound. Due to the absence of one or both parents in the name of work, business and career most youths today grew under the influence of the Mass media which is quite corrupt.
Most children are left to the mercy of the wild - wild mass media with its so many disgusting contents of corruption, indecency, violence, crime and RAPE! This is the influence under which most children grew up. Suicide is also a huge societal problem which is also trending today. Most of these were picked by the youths largely from the mass media. The emergence of the social media had worsen the cases a great deal!
There must be a sacrifice, there must be a compromise. Whatever career you build which is robbing of you of spending top quality time with your family, must be sacrificed for the sake of your family. Find a less tasking career and find time stay back home to teach your children the all important good character and discipline!

Your Dress Code Speaks Volumes About You!
Whether you like it or not, you shall be addressed according to the way you dress. When you dress modestly, people shall treat you with respect and modesty. But when you go sexual, when you slay and show off your curves, expect to be addressed SEXILY! You can't be showing off sexy assets and expect me to think otherwise, NO! It doesn't work like that!
Some argued that Barakat was a Hijabite, yet, she fell victim of rape. That happens occasionally, as Muslims, we accept such as 'the Act of God'. Some people get treated unfairly in life. According to Islam, when that happens, it is most often than not as a result of our own deeds and other times, it's a trial from the Almighty. This is a topic for another day, insha Allah. But for now, please note that just because you are a Muslim and a Hijab sister does not guarantee that bad things won't happen to you. Barakat is probably a victim of circumstances.
The Dress code issue affects the female folk the more. There's a good reason why the whole body of a woman is to be covered during salah while that of a guy is from the navel area to the knees. Women are an embodiment of beauty that can drive men crazy anytime any day. So, please, don't dress like a prostitute if you don't want to be addressed as such!

Avoid Going Into Privacy With The Opposite Sex
According to a hadith, when a man and a woman go into an enclosed place alone, Shaiton is a third companion! Ladies must be security conscious at all times. Whatever discussion you may want to have with the opposite sex, ensure it is done in an open place and NEVER in privacy. This is because most often than not private conversations lead to one type of scandal or the other. If you must talk in privacy, ensure there's a third NEUTRAL person present.
Despite your Hijab culture, some guys might still seek out ways to take advantage of you. One of the ways they go about that is to gain your trust by being very friendly and before you know it, they'll ask to see you in privacy...the rest is better imagined.

NEVER Walk Alone!
In the case of Barakat, some claimed that she was raped when she had gone to fetch water. It then struck me that Barakat fell because she was alone. The same can be said about Uwa, in fact, most rape victims are always far away from help when the evil happens. Little wonder why Islam forbids the female folks from leaving the house without a companion or two! Always be on guard, never walk alone walk in groups for security reasons. Barakat was raped and killed at a place that is not far away from her home, Uwa was raped and killed in a church. In both cases, the rapists succeeded simply because the victims were alone!
As a woman, never leave or come back home before sunrise and after sunset respectively without a male companion or that you are in a group. Don't use short cuts that are lonely and long when you are alone. Be security conscious at all times!

Teach Your Kids Your Religion
Religion is culture and culture is the total way of life. Most kids today are robbed of the Islamic education and this has been telling in their foolish way of life. Islam has not left any aspect of our lives unattended to. We need to send our kids to learn our religion and we should support the Mallams by encouraging our kids to imbibe the Islamic tradition in their lives.
Islam is an embodiment of beauty and virtues. We must go back to Islam, we must all go back to God our Creator and serve Him to the best of our ability. Countries that adopt Shariah fully or partly have the lowest rape cases in the world.

There's so much on my mind but, unfortunately, there's no room to bare them all right now. Insha Allah, we shall be dropping them as He wills.
Salaam.
